but how choose between the various seats ?

Evrything depends on your habits, your favorite disciplines or those that you want to be able to practice.

  • the models of saddle which the seat is typical english saddle (trec prestige, trec confort, trec endurance, brivadoise, trec sport) will not shock the riders who had learnt to ride with english saddle. it's the flater seat of our range but the most general purpose is the trec prestige.

don't subsiste you more than to choose between saddle flap more or less longor fenders with or without knee roll...

  • the models of saddle wich the seat is typical mac lellan saddle (th rando comfort, th voyage comfort, normande) will not shock the "old riders". its THE saddle for long riding, strong, light, wich passes on all horses. very reassuring also thanks to this pommel and this high cantle guaranteeing a good stability on hilly grounds and with horses little rowdy.

don't subsiste you more than to choose between saddle flap or fenders and why not the horn for fan to western style.

  • the saddle "ERA"is the "armchair" of our range. his seat so particular in light descent toward the reins of horse. so the rider moves back for seat down more far from withers. the rider is seated behind the saddle and leans against the wrapping cantle. the rider is straight in his saddle, his leg very straight too a good position for to dress and the long riding. furthermore the saddle flap without knee roll leave all freedom for the actions of leg.
  • the models of saddle wich the seat is typical english saddle but more "wrapping"than those of trec prestige (arverne, arverne endurance) will be perfect for the riders who prefer a typical seat of english saddle but who want absolutly to feel more wrapped. it's a good compromise between the trec prestige and the th rando comfort. the arverne and the arverne endurance are little less general urpose than the trec prestige because of this little pommel but what comfort for the long riding !
  • the old timer will be perfect for followers of western riding but with more comfort for rider and above all very light

But how choose between saddle flap and fenders?

saddle flap shorter than fenders will allow you to fix your leg and are more comfortable for the knee. the fenders will protect you as far as your ankle. ideal for relaxed riding. supple and less thick than the saddle flap.

Must I choose according to the morphology of my horse ?

No, however the model what you'll choose may be, we make the saddle thanks to the measures and photography what you send us. so the comfort will be the same for your horse thanks to the big panels who distribute the weight on all the surface.

the saddle being the link between the vertebral column of the rider and that of the horse its role is essential.
in the specifications two imperatives: deaden shock waves and distribute the weight of the rider and his luggage so that the pressure in cm² on the back of the horse is lower than 80g/cm²

amortisseur

For info : la Trec Prestige = 36 g/cm2.

so that the carrying tall surface of the saddle is effective the sanglage has to distribute its pressure of front behind and be adjustable laterally where form the sangle in "V" TH CUIR

the trees

they are maked by a craftsman from th cuir's mould with this craftsman. All our model of trees are for longtime used without foam rubber. It was about fifteen years ago, and for to meet to the request what the quilted panels appeared, then the foam rubber in the seat. all our trees proved their quality concept and their comfort.

the trees are in fiber glass fiber carbon and resin polyester, so several qualities:

  • they are light(between 1.5kg and 2kgdepending on the model and the size,
  • robust,
  • half rigid,
  • they don't go bad with the timethey,
  • don't work with the warmth or dampness,
  • the repairing is easy.

each tree is ordered for each customers(except the saddle in stock) for the size of seat and opening of withers who correspond. we go by elements of your order form.

as far as your hosre is concerned, we ask for you a photography of your horse on sideway, his height at the withers, his measure of his thorax and his breed for to define the opening of withers who will correspond.

as far as you are concerned, we ask for your height, weight, measure of your hip and lenght of leg.

it isn't necessary to choose the model of saddle depending to your horse or your stoutness. you choose depending to the activity what you want practice, we take care of the rest.

saddle care

there's no point in doing to apply oil to the saddle. our advice for the cleaning, to use a specify soap.

however some oil (once a year) isn't bad, except on the supple parts of saddle(knee roll, panels, seat)

for the first use

adjust the strap system in V

you can used all pads, they only must protect your saddle to the sweat of horse. pointless to choose it too thick.

for all new saddle a time of adaptation is necessary, if in spite of this time the saddle don't correspond to the horse or to you, we tacke back the saddle and we do it again.
